Recognizing this gift, her grandfather, a musician himself, became her mentor and helped shape her early musical foundation.
Trained in piano and later self-taught on guitar, Mak turned to songwriting as a way to translate life experience into songs. Her music blends timeless influences from the 50s through the 80s, drawing inspiration from legends like Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, and Journey.
